Kids & Youth
At Calvary Baptist Church we believe that our kids and youth are not just the future of the church—they are the church!
Calvary Kids
Hey parents!
We love kids and are excited to offer worship, lessons, crafts and activities geared to their creative minds. Calvary Kids is for age 0 to grade 6.
Check your kids in before the service at 9:30 a.m. in Pritchard Hall (look for the Calvary Kids flag). Pick up your kids after the service or stay through 2nd hour (Calvary Kids ends at 12:00 p.m.) We'd be happy to fill you in on more info.
Awana
Awana is a robust kids' Scripture memory, lesson and game program that meets throughout the school year (Sept-May). Awana meets on Wednesday nights in the Fellowship Hall. Check-in begins at 5:50pm and pick up is at 7:30pm.
Kids are divided into age-appropriate groups.
Cubbies (age 3-4)
Sparks (K-2nd grade)
T&T (3rd-6th grade)
TREK (Middle School)
Journey (High School)
Are there costs involved?
Yes, we collect dues to help offset the cost of running the club. However, we do not want dues to prevent anyone from attending club. If you are in need of financial aid in this area, please contact the AWANA Ministry Director. Dues vary depending upon the age group and when your child joins the club.
For more information contact the office.
Trail Life
Calvary's new ministry Trail Life meets on Tuesday nights at 6pm in the Life House. Trail Life engages boys with natural leadership opportunities, spiritual dependence, and outdoor adventure using practical skills training. Think: ropes, fire, camping, survival, first aid, and Jesus.
